nib Promotes Nz Covid Tracer App For Member Health

We’re committed to helping our members and the community stay safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is why we’re encouraging our members and employees to download the New Zealand Government’s new contact-tracing app, NZ COVID Tracer, to continue to protect their health.

By downloading NZ COVID Tracer, we’re all helping keep our families, friends and the community safe from further spread of the coronavirus through early identification and notification of possible exposure.

“We understand many of our members and employees are faced with a lot of uncertainty during this time and contact-tracing is one way we can stay informed and feel empowered to make the right choices when it comes to your better health,” said nib CEO, Rob Hennin.

“The NZ COVID Tracer app highlights the importance of data, accessible technology and diagnostics to better predict and, where possible, enhance individual and community wellbeing,” Mr Hennin said

“I’ve downloaded the app, I’ve suggested all our employees to do the same and I encourage all Kiwis to do so also,” he added.

nib’s Auckland office is also supporting the app by displaying a QR code poster on our offices for any visitors or employees who come on site.

The more people that download and use the NZ COVID Tracer, the greater the chance we have of stopping any further spread of coronavirus in our community.
