Move Challenge - With The Blues | Part 1
Regular exercise and sport provide a tonne of health benefits for children. It will help improve their fitness and wellbeing while building stronger bones and muscles to help them grow into fit, healthy and strong young adults.
To support the better health of our junior sporting community, we’ve launched our Little Legends content series to educate our aspiring sports stars of the future on the importance of exercise, nutrition and mental wellbeing.
We’ve teamed up with our friends and experts at the Blues, plus some junior Blues fans, to bring you a series of warmups and exercises which will get you and your family moving and will help boost your fitness in no time.
Set aside ten minutes to try out the below three movement challenges!
Challenge 1: Frog Jumps
Get your legs moving and build your cardio fitness with Frog Jumps. Watch Blues players Caleb Clarke, Marcel Renata and Patrick Tuipulotu, and their trainer Scott Pinfold as they show you how it’s done. Ribbit!
Follow these steps and get jumping:
- Put your feet outside your hips
- Bend down and touch the ground
- Jump up as high as you can
- Land back down on the ground
- And repeat!
